This program generally focuses on vocational education of hotel and catering related subjects in theory and practical model. The training programs are designed for those who wish to gain a reliable technical skill in order to develop the profession of particular subject of hotel management. Another undertaking of this program is to make trainees capable to see the job opportunities in competitive hospitality market of the country and abroad as well. AIM & OBJECTIVES
The objective of varioua academic, vocational and technical training program aimed by Manaslu Academy of Hospitality and agriculture are;
To help reduce unemployment by developing entrepreneurial and skilled manpower that can compete in both the domestic and foreign job market.
To help creat an environment suitable for self-employment by expanding job opportunities and expanding the skill sets acquired by the youths.
To assist the trainees in finding opportunities for work by closely collaborating with potential employers. For example, hotel and restaurant owners, chain operations, business house and their related associations.
To provide training to indigenous persons, women, the poor, Dalits, and groups that are located in rural and neglected areas of the countryside.
To assits in the development of minimum skill required for young people who opt for foreign employment and become self-employed in the domestic market.
To help trainees with making understand that foreign employment should only be obtained when one has learned some particular skills and physical attitude.
To focus on the productive and entrepreneurship training in order to secure foreign employment.
To enhance the competences of youths by providing qualitative training through the various vocational and technical training program for the improvement of their work capacity and revenue generation as well.
ACHIEVEMENT
- We have been conducting very short course program of hotel management of grade XI and XII since the inception of establishment. Out of them, more than 1000 students had completed their cours as a pratical class.
- We have produced about 100 skilled workforces of culinary arts with the joint efforts of Manaslu Academy of Hospitality and Catalunya, Option Nepal (Spanish volunteer organization) by the end of 2022. Now, they have got job opportunity in local market of hotel and restaurant industries.
- The Regular class of particular training courses of culinary art, dining service, bartending, caregiver and housekeeping is being continued as a routine wise program. Out of them, we produced about 500 skilled manpower till date.
- We have send our students for the study of diploma program in china before COVID pandemic and this program is conducted and accelerated by the joint venture of BPXI, China and metropolitan college Singapore.
